What Makes Pfister Kitchen Faucets Different?

It’s the quality of the kitchen faucet that sets Pfister apart from the competition. It’s difficult to argue with the statement that they are “unsurpassed in quality” because this organization is constantly striving to improve they manufacture. From product testing to improvements in manufacturing techniques, the functionality that you’ll receive with a kitchen faucet from this organization will help you create a kitchen environment that will help you innovate as well.

At Pfister, the purchase of a kitchen faucet isn’t the end of the process. It’s instead treated as the beginning of a beautiful relationship! Each kitchen faucet from Pfister offers a lifetime leak-free promise and the finish and function of every faucet is backed by a lifetime guarantee. You’ll interact with a specialized team that can help answer any question, solve any problem, and even help with installation problems at Pfister – something the competition just doesn’t have.

Called the “Pforever” warranty, you have a guarantee with every single product made by Pfister that it will be free of defects over the entire life of the product. Even their commercial warranty covers a period of 10 years and the finish has a 5 year guarantee. It’s experience that matters when it comes to the creation of a really good kitchen faucet and when a company is willing to back up that experience with real results and guarantees, it shows that the product will either be great or Pfister will do their very best to make it great.

Why Choose a Pfister Kitchen Faucet?

It’s all about the professional grade of the product when talking about a Pfister kitchen faucet. Not only will you discover that there is over a century of experience that has your back when you invest into this brand, but you’ve also got a global hardware and home improvement expert in Spectrum Brands backing up the investment of design and innovation you make with a Pfister product. This is what brings forth the real value of the faucet you select.

Why is a Pfister kitchen faucet called “professional grade” when many look the same as any other faucet from another manufacturer? For Pfister, it’s about customization for you. When you choose a Pfister faucet, you’re getting something that has been specifically designed for you. With a wide variety of finishes, all metal parts, and valves that exceed industrial grading, every faucet has one goal: to be a hassle-free experience.

It’s the typical marketing phrase: the customer comes first. It’s often said with a hollow, grudging attitude to the idea. That’s not the case at Pfister, which uses their engineering teams to speak with marketing researchers about what customers want to have with a modern kitchen faucet. This effort can be seen with every faucet that you’ll find because whether it is the most expensive faucet on the market or an entry-level, budget-friendly faucet, the design is going to perfectly meet your needs.

How Can I Find the Best Kitchen Faucet?

One of the most overlooked components of choosing the best kitchen faucet is the existing plumbing. If your new kitchen faucet is unable to work with the plumbing that is already installed, then you’re going to have some trouble! From water line extensions to pullout hoses that have counterweights which snag on your sink trap, compatibility is a must when it comes to shopping for a new Pfister kitchen faucet.

How can you determine if the faucet you’re considering will be compatible with the sink where it will be installed?

  1. Is the counterweight on the extension hose adjustable so you can increase or decrease the actual usage length of the pull-down or pullout faucet?
  2. Are the water lines long enough to meet up with my existing water supply or will I need to purchase line extensions?
  3. Will the faucet I’m considering fit into the installation hole(s) that are available in my current sink?

It’s the last question that ends up becoming the biggest problem for homeowners who are looking to upgrade their current kitchen faucet. The modern single point installation is often less than 1.5 inches in total diameter and in older sinks, the circumference can sometimes be 2 inches. When you get your new kitchen faucet from Pfister and it goes through the installation hole… that’s not a good thing!

Make sure to measure out the installation point in full before placing an order for a new faucet. You may wish to specifically look at multiple hole installation faucets if you have separate temperature controls on your old faucet or find covers that can eliminate the extra installation points from sight if you do decide on an all-in-one Pfister kitchen faucet.

When your plans are concrete before you shop, your experience will be much, much better. Measure, evaluate, and be aware of your under-cabinet plumbing and you’ll be able to select the best possible faucet from Pfister.

What Are the Pfister Kitchen Faucet Prices?

What you’ll discover about Pfister is that you’ll really get a quality product for an affordable price. Almost all of their kitchen faucets, no matter which model it happens to be, come in for under $200. The average price for a Pfister faucet is about $150 when looked at as a whole, with prices maxing out at $179 in the current market.

Pfister isn’t always considered a 1st line faucet manufacturer, but they produce kitchen faucets that would qualify for this designation. Many of their products are, in fact, equal to or even better than similar faucets from manufacturers that charge double or triple the price to a consumer for the same experience.

It all comes back to what the emphasis of the Pfister brand happens to be: you. When a company takes the time to know what it is that you want, then you’ll have a better chance of having a quality experience.

Pfister Marielle 1-Handle 3-Hole High-Arc Bar Prep Kitchen Faucet

If you’re looking for a large primary faucet, this might not be the kitchen faucet for you. Otherwise there really isn’t anything bad that can be said about this faucet. It’s made from metal and has a solid design.

The flow rate of this faucet is 1.5 gallons per minute, so you can leave the aerator in place and save up to 30% on water usage from your kitchen sink. Some users may be tempted to remove the aerator, which would void the warranty, so doing so is not recommended.

Pfister Wheaton 1-Handle 1, 2, 3 or 4-Hole Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet w/Soap Dispenser

This pull-down faucet is specifically designed to help you get your sink chores done quickly. The control lever is easy and convenient, the soap dispenser fills up from the top, and you get a classic gooseneck design that will upgrade the look of any kitchen.

It looks nice and operates well for the most part, but over time the pumping mechanism seems to degrade and can create a problem that needs to be fixed. The pull-down faucet, however, works extremely well, is flexible enough to work with even deep sinks, and will give your kitchen the upgraded look you crave.

I am not happy with the lack of service. Our faucet is still under warranty but we have been getting the run around with no solution in sight. If it is not completely resolved soon, I will be contacting the better business bureau. For all the time I’ve spent on hold & looking for information I could of bought a new Different brand of faucet & had it installed. WHY put “TEN YEAR”on the box if you’re not going to stand by the ten year warranty?
